Business Development Manager
Responsibilities
This individual is responsible for planning and implementing product sales and new business development activities in Singapore. Specifically this includes developing new business opportunities in the education sector, and ensuring short and long-term sales targets are met.
- Develop, execute and report results for business development objectives, plans, forecasts and opportunities pipelines
- Identify and qualify sales opportunities, prospect for new customers and develop customer relationships
- Develop and perform sales presentations and product demonstrations
- Prepare and track sales quotations and proposals
- Liaise frequently with Technical Account Management and Sales Support team members to ensure regular updates regarding technical issues and opportunities
- Provide input to the Product Team regarding customer requirements for use in establishing product requirements for projects and product improvements
- Monitor and analyze industry sales trends, as well as competitor activities, communicate the same to the Product Team and recommend appropriate action or response
- Participate in and attend various market trade shows and conferences
- Ensure that all required sales information is documented and maintained
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience in industry sales, preferably in Apple-related products
- Demonstrated market development and relationship management experience
- Demonstrated record of sales achievement
- Highly motivated, energetic with a professional sales presence
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, presentation and closing skills
Tenure
We are open to internships, part-time and full-time work though the preference is for a full-time person. However, a bright person who can multi-task is fine. For part-time work, the candidate must be open to joining us full-time in the future, i.e., this is a two-way audition.
