Responsibilities
Collaborate with usability designer and business leader to develop Mac and iPhone/iPod Touch applications. While this is an individual contributor role, performance in this role helps us to identify and groom future technical leaders and technical product managers in the organization. The successful candidate will be one who can manage his or her own time and priorities with minimal supervision and be ready and willing to be a leader in his or her own area of responsibility.
Experience
We are looking for candidates with passion – individuals who like to disassemble things to find out how they work, curious, can’t-colour-in-the-box, can’t-sit-behind-a-desk-for-8-hours type of people. Experience with object-oriented languages like Objective C, Java, C#, C++ is a plus.
The successful candidate will be someone who appreciates the beauty of the code and design, to be both functional and efficient.
Mac users or experts will be a definite plus. Anyone who has a Mac or an iPhone gets extra points.
Tenure
We are open to internships, part-time and full-time work though the preference is for a full-time person. However, a bright person who can multi-task is fine. For part-time work, the candidate must be open to joining us full-time in the future, i.e., this is a two-way audition.
